Have PDF forms filled out and signed

The Form Filling Tool allows users to send PDF forms with an invitation to sign so that signatories can complete the PDF form and then sign it.

Form Filling

How to get started

Create a signature request with the form

Add the previously created PDF form using drag & drop. Certifaction recognises the form and asks the initiator whether invited signatories should complete the PDF form. Add signatories via their e-mail addresses.

FAQs

Our answers to the most frequently asked questions

No, our frontend automatically recognises whether it is a PDF that needs to be filled in and asks you whether invited signatories need to complete the form before signing. Please note that you cannot use form filling if you are the only signatory of the document.
Basically yes. Certifaction automatically recognises whether the PDF file is a form. If the PDF file is not recognised as a form, the document will be treated as any other document. Please note that PDF forms can be complex and Certifaction does not guarantee that all types of forms can be completed before signing.
Enter your email address in the list of signatories. You will then receive the invitation to sign like everyone else and can complete and sign the form.

If you want to invite a large number of signatories, the API integration is the right choice for you, as there is no limit to the number of signatories. In the web app, you can manually place up to 50 signatories on the document. If you insert the signatures automatically into a new page, this works for a maximum of 8 signatures.

Certifaction should recognise when mandatory fields have not been completed. If not all mandatory fields have been completed, the “Sign” button should be deactivated so that the signature process cannot be completed.

Under “My processes” (or “Our processes” if sent from a Teamspace) you can download the PDF forms by simply clicking on “Download”, or download a subset of the documents by opening the process details.

No, not yet. You can use your PDF builder and then add the PDF to Certifaction using drag & drop.
